So I finally got my pants back & as you may have seen from an earlier post I selected the textiles from the garment district in NYC, designed them & had them made. The pant cut is based off a 1940’s cut with a high waist and full leg. I then decided I wanted side adjusters and no belt loops as this is traditional Savile Row tailoring, it gives the pant a much more refined look as there is no visual of belt loops or buttons. Also added 1.5 inch cuffs to the pant, I think cuffs on pants are making a huge come back as well as pleated fronts but i am not game on pleats just yet.
Really happy with the construction but i will change the cut a little as they are a really full leg and will tapper them in maybe an inch through the thigh and add half an inch to the cuffs. Cant wait for pair number two they be should spot on.
P.S. Please excuse how creased they are i just pulled them out the bag :)
